Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains how WeCoverLeads ("WeCoverLeads", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit wecoverleads.com, submit a request through one of the insurance quote forms we operate, or do business with us as an insurance agency or professional.
1. Who this policy covers
Two groups of people interact with us, and we treat their data differently:
- Consumers who request an insurance quote through a form or website we operate (life, health, home, commercial or pet insurance). If this is you, sections 2 to 6 matter most.
- Business contacts — insurance agencies, brokers, carriers and their staff — who contact us to buy leads or work with us. If this is you, section 7 applies.
2. Information we collect from consumers
When you complete one of our quote forms, we collect the information you enter, which may include:
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, telephone number, postal address, ZIP code, date of birth.
- Quote details: the type of insurance you are interested in, coverage amount, current coverage, beneficiary relationship, household information, property or vehicle details, pet details, business details — depending on the product you asked about.
- Verification data: the one-time passcode you enter to confirm your phone number.
- Technical data collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, time stamps, and a recording of your form session captured through consent-verification services such as TrustedForm (ActiveProspect) or Jornaya. These recordings document what you saw and agreed to when you submitted the form.
- Data from advertising and analytics tools, such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads and Google Analytics, which use cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use consumer information
- To match you with licensed insurance professionals who can quote the product you requested, and to transmit your request to them.
- To verify that your contact details are accurate and that you consented to be contacted.
- To operate, secure and improve our websites and forms, and to measure the performance of our advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
4. Consent to be contacted
When you submit a quote request, you provide prior express written consent for WeCoverLeads and the insurance professional(s) we match you with — our "marketing partners" — to contact you by telephone, text message and email at the number and address you provided, including through automated dialing technology and pre-recorded or artificial voice messages, even if your number is on a federal, state or company do-not-call list. The exact consent language is displayed next to the submit button on each form.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, by asking the caller to stop, or by emailing contact@wecoverleads.com.
5. How we share consumer information
Our business is connecting people who request quotes with insurance professionals. We share your quote request with:
- Marketing partners: licensed insurance agencies, agents, brokers and carriers, and lead-management platforms that route requests to them. A current list of marketing partners is available on request at contact@wecoverleads.com. Once a partner receives your information, its use is governed by that partner's privacy policy.
- Service providers who help us operate: hosting, form and lead-routing software, phone verification, consent-verification (TrustedForm, Jornaya), analytics and advertising platforms, email and SMS providers, and payment processors.
- Legal and safety: regulators, courts or law enforcement when required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
- Business transfers: a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Sharing your information with marketing partners in exchange for payment may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. See section 6 for how to opt out.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and receive a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: email contact@wecoverleads.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" and the phone number and email you used on our form. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
To exercise any other right, email contact@wecoverleads.com. We will verify your request by matching the details you provide against our records and respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days). You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf; we may ask for proof of that authorization.
These rights are available to residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws. California residents may also request the categories of personal information disclosed for a business purpose in the preceding 12 months: identifiers, contact details, quote details and internet activity, as described in section 2, disclosed to the categories of recipients listed in section 5.
7. Business contacts
If you contact us through the form on wecoverleads.com or by email, we collect the information you provide (name, company, work email, phone, states, lead volume and message) and use it to respond to you, to prepare a proposal, and, if you become a client, to deliver leads, invoice and support you. We may also send you information about our services; you can opt out at any time. We do not sell business contact information.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to keep our sites working, understand how they are used and measure advertising. Third parties such as Meta and Google may set their own cookies and use the data under their own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how our forms work.
9. Data retention and security
We keep quote requests and the associated consent records for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes above and to demonstrate compliance — consent recordings are typically retained for five years. Business records are kept for the duration of the relationship and as required by tax and commercial law. We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Children
Our sites and forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
We are established in the United Arab Emirates and use service providers in the United States and other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside the state or country where you live. We take steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection wherever it is processed.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
